My drawing of Pugsley Addams from the 90s films and 90s cartoon as well as the Netflix show. I did reference Jimmy Workman who portrayed the character in the 90s films. I also referenced Isaac Ordonez who played him in the Netflix show.

This is part of my Addams family portrait series1. It mostly centers around the major characters, and all were drawn around 2022-2023. So far I’ve shared Gomez, Morticia, Wednesday, and now Pugsley. The next one will be Fester ⚡️

I was excited to draw the 90s cartoon version of him mostly because I really wanted to draw his mischievous and crazed expression. The eyes were especially fun to draw. For the 90s movie version of him, I noticed he’d usually be seen with a wide smile so I focused on that. As for the Netflix show, the one trait that stood out to me is how Pugsley has a difficult time standing up for himself and that unfortunately causes him to get hurt. So besides his smiling and relaxed expression, I included one where he’s anxious and worried.

My favorite version of Pugsley is from the 90s cartoon. He has a more active role in the series and he’s also super mischievous. His dynamic with Wednesday in that show is also my favorite out of all the different versions. They’re so chaotic and I love that! I also just love zany and looney cartoons like this, and the Addamses imo just translate really well in that style.

I know the Netflix show mostly focuses on Wednesday but I do hope we get to see more from Pugsley and the family in the next season.
