Gonna attempt to fix my Switch
Update on my Switch: the screen is still malfunctioning and after doing some more research, specifically it’s the LCD screen that’s not working properly. There are multiple colorful horizontal lines that appear on the screen now at all times. So the touch screen (I learned it’s called a touch screen digitizer), which is sitting on top of the LCD screen, is fine, thank goodness. As someone who isn’t super familiar with tech stuff, I actually didn’t know the Switch has two screens so this was new news for me!
I’ve also decided to try and fix my Switch. I do enjoy making stuff but this will be the first time I’ll be working with electronics. To help make the situation not be so overwhelming, I’ve been watching and reading some tutorials. Now I’m excited to fix my Switch!
Hopefully the damage isn’t as severe and my Switch can be saved 🤞 I’m not sure yet if I’ll make a proper blog post about this entire situation but for now, here’s a brief update on where I am.
